The New Victoria

Bryce Dallas Howard has replace Rachel Lefevre as Victoria in the 3rd Twilight Saga film, Eclipse. Now while that sucks for Rachel Lefevre I must admit this bit of casting news is very exciting. Bryce Dallas Howard has the acting chops to pull off a love lost, sadistic vampire and adds a bit of weight to the movie. Brilliant!

Red-eyed monsters

First look at the Volturi... Dakota Fanning looks sinister... I love it!

Washing the gay away....

Rachel McAdams is ridiculously attractive... who knew after watching Mean Girls that she would become such a big deal? Anyway, she adds some estrogen to the testosterone romp that is Sherlock Holmes.... fabulous.

WOOHOO!!!!

Oh how I miss Chuck.... this season 3 promo poster is awesome. I don't know if I can wait until January for the new season to start...

Elementary....

I wonder what Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would think of his character? I have a feeling this movie is going to revolutionize the way we look at Sherlock Holmes. After all, who knew he was a bad ass fighter and ladies man? I always pictured him as a bit of a poof. But, apparently Guy Richie found a man's man lurking beneath the soft surface. At least with the lovely addition of Rachel McAdams those pesky Holmes/Watson attached at the hip thoughts will be silenced.

Comic Con reveal....

I'm not sure what to say about this poster for the upcoming Jonah Hex film... It captures the hotness of Megan Fox and the badass, creepiness of Josh Brolin as the title character. I can't wait...

Hot Werewolf....

Wait... he's a shapeshifter huh? Well, whatever he is, I must admit, he looks hot. Not Edward hot, but he's perfect for a poorly named freak baby/toddler/grade schooler.... go Jacob!

Judging Scarlett...

Okay, so she can fill out a leather outfit... good.... she can do that smoldering, mysterious thing.... great.... but can she do a convincing Russian accent?... ah ha! Houston, we MAY have a problem. Have I mentioned how much I hate the curly hair? The Black Widow has straight hair. Hell, I'll say that she has a bit of a wave, but a permy-bouffant? I think not! BLEH!

Let's pray on it....

New episode of True Blood tonight. Last week's episode was in my opinion the best off the season, so I can't wait to see what's going to happen. I do know that I want to see Jason get to it with Sarah, serious chemistry between those two, and what's up with this Godric guy? A bunch of Texans took him down? What? Really? Thank goodness for HBO east.... 6 pm can't come fast enough.

A bloody good time....

Question: Megan Fox wants to go out on a date with you, which will entail making out for a while and maybe getting to second base, the only problem is that she's going to kill and eat you after... is it worth it?

-t

Transformers 2....

D and I went and saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen last night. I liked it. It was entertaining and visually... uhhh... stimulating. While Michael Bay seemed to abandon his flesh and blood characters, he was kind enough to have the picture below be the first glimpse of Megan Fox's character (I don't remember her name in the movie, I think its Mikaela. But does it really matter?). I thought the other chick (Isabel Lucas) had a kick ass role and while her hotness is impressive, it still doesn't measure up to Fox's leather clad motorcycle mechanic...

Naughty Nurse

Well, not exactly naughty but she is playing a nurse....

Natalie Portman will portray Jane Foster in Marvel's new Thor movie.... I'm reserving judgment on this casting choice because she hasn't WOWed me since The Professional and Beautiful Girls... wait... I liked V for Vendetta and Closer.... hmmm... still reserving judgment.

SEE IT!!!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was amazing... I want to see it again.

running latte

running latte

showing up late to work because you stopped for coffee along the way.

I told them I got stuck in traffic, but really I was running latte.

This is me. Sometimes. Although not with my new job. No, for reals. But mostly because there's this great coffee shop below the office!

News Crush

Important updates, here at chez K. I give to you- my top three crushes as of late! What can I say, I like boys :)

In no particular order:

Leo Marmol
Managing principle at Marmol Radziner + Associates, an architecture, construction and landscape firm based in Los Angeles. I heard him give a talk on sustainability and prefabrication this past weekend at Dwell on Design. Amazing. I would've listened to him talk for another three hours, given the chance.

Optimus Prime
Autobot, defender of earth, human kind and the simultaneously adorable and annoying Sam Witwicky. I finally saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this evening. It was definitely hit or miss, but how could you not love Optimus Prime? Or, for that matter, Bumblebee? They're willing to sacrifice themselves for Sam (Shia LeBeouf), who in turn reaps the rewards (mainly, Megan Fox). How's that fair?!

The Husband
Recently returned from three weeks away, the husband returned to find a tired, cranky and over-worked wife and yet he's still nice to me. He's a keeper! (Even if he does wear hot pink polo shirts and run kind of strangely...)
