One of my first stops the next time I'm in NYC:
The High Line, an elevated railway that runs along Manhattan's Lower West Side. The last time I was in NYC, they were still in the beginning stages of development. It sounds like they're still working on it, but I think it's gonna be good when it's done, and I'm really pleased that they didn't just tear it down. (You hear me, Los Angeles? You don't have to tear everything old down!) For more info, here's the link to Friends of the High Line.
